A digital character is a creative decision, not a technical asset. Learn to design, build, and prepare digital characters in Unreal Engine — MetaHuman workflows, customization, grooming, materials, and preparing characters for animation. Character creation is also a form of freedom: it lets performers and storytellers step beyond physical, age, and casting limitations and author who appears on screen.

This course covers character animation inside Unreal Engine: rigs and Control Rig, keyframe animation, working with crafted choreographed motion capture, retargeting, and refining movement so a digital character keeps the intention of the artist behind it. Motion Design + Principles of Animation in Unreal Engine

The classic principles of animation, alive inside a real-time engine.

Squash and stretch. Anticipation. Timing. Arcs. These principles have carried animation for a century, and they translate beautifully into Unreal Engine. This course pairs the foundational principles of animation with Unreal Engine’s motion design tools, so your graphics, transitions, and animated elements move with craft instead of default settings. About the Instructor

Marcela Bragagnolo · Founder, MB3 Creative Studio

Marcela is a former professional dancer, animator, educator, and virtual production artist. She is an Unreal Engine Authorized Trainer Partner with Gold status, an Animation Unreal Engine Fellowship participant, and has ICVFX experience on major productions.

Her path runs from performing arts into animation, motion capture, and real-time production. That is why her teaching is different: she understands weight, timing, and presence from inside the body, and she knows how to preserve them inside a digital pipeline.

She has trained performers, animators, university programs, and studio teams, and she built these courses on one belief: the world needs authentic embodiment, and artists deserve full fluency in the tools shaping their field.
